Campaign Launch Party Recap

This past Saturday nearly 80 friends, supporters, and campaign staff members gathered together at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille for the official Campaign Kickoff Party. For two hours, folks were able to meet with other volunteers and discuss ways to get involved with the best campaign team in town! Senior Campaign Strategist Matthew Ridenhour led the charge with a motivational overview of the campaign, while Social/Event Coordinator Abby Draxler shared some fantastic ideas to rally the volunteer base. Finally, Corey introduced his family, acknowledged those in attendance, and gave an inspirational speech on why he’s the best man for the job!

The event was a huge success, and we owe a great deal of gratitude to everyone who came out. The response was overwhelming, and we are moved by the amount of positive momentum this campaign has already picked up. For that, we say thank you!

A very special thanks goes out to Joey Clemmer for providing the Cornhole sets for entertainment, and to our VIP guests who were on hand.

Finally, we’d like to thank the fine folks at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille for their outstanding hospitality. The service was second-to-none, the food was amazing, and we appreciate all that they did to make the day complete! It’s safe to say that DNG has just become Team Thompson’s new campaign headquarters!
